Empathy

What does empathy mean to you? You think you're so unlucky to not have the latest version of a phone or you don't have enough Vbucks for Fortnite. BUT, while you worry about that, others might be worrying about their health, money, staying warm, or even if they’re going to have food for supper!

Empathy means putting yourself in other people’s place, imagining the tough times that people might be going through, feeling it, and relating to it. A lot of individuals in this world can only dream of some of the things that we have. Love is the root of empathy; if we have no love, than we have no purpose.❤ It’s like a door that can’t be opened. What’s the point?

JUST BREATHE!

Written by: Alexia Elias and Maya Benarroch

Stressed? Feeling anxious? Having trouble sleeping? Here’s something you can try that will help calm you, and clear your mind. When you can’t sleep, if you’re in a panic, or even to keep you calm before an exam, this might help!

Step 1: Block one nostril by gently pushing against it.

Step 2: Breathe in slowly through and hold your breath for four seconds.

Step 3: Exhale slowly.

Step 4: Change nostrils and repeat.

Step 5: Continue until you feel calm.

What does EMPATHY mean to you?
